...means that you own your own equipment, or at least make plans with someone else to borrow theirs prior to a show. How can you do things yourself when you don't even have the bare necessities.
It's not punk-rock to show up to shows without your own equipment. It's also not punk rock to ask someone if you can borrow theirs at the show because they have nicer stuff. It's not punk rock to take 25 minutes to set up, punk was suppose to be fast i thought.
Feel free to correct me if i am wrong but, i feel that everyone should agree with this.

Today at work this nice old woman came in with a basket. In the basket there where a bunch of really old 45's, with no artwork or sleeves, but they where all good artists. I had to explain to her that we did not sell them and i was sorry that i couldn't help her. She told me that was she still loved all the songs and showed me some of the records. Then she kind of got a sad look on her face and told me that she couldn't take care of them anymore because she had to go away. This made me really sad because i think she was taking about dying. I could be wrong and maybe she is just moving, that would be a happier ending to this story, but i don't think thats what meant. Normally i wouldn't care about this at all but for some reason it made me really sad.

1. party: Denice's i got kicked out
2. show: Danzig/Crowbar/George Jones/Cage & Tame one (not all the same show, but that would have ruled)
3. cd: Planes Mistaken For Stars - Up in them guts
4. movie: Me and You and Everyone We Know , i don't know if it came out this year but i just saw it
5. song: I listen/rap/quote the leak bros. constantly so Im gonna go with that even though it came out last year
6. experience: All the touring Ruiner did, Knocking someone out, Peeing in someone's lemonade
7. purchase: ipod/Mac min
8. book: Chuck Palahniuk - Haunted / Bret Easton Ellis - Lunar Park
9. month: June i was on tour the whole month hanging out with Day Of The Dead and John Frank
10. day: July 10th, March 1st - I got to see Danzig play Misfits songs with Doyle and than me nicole and shannon thought it was necessary to drive to NY @ 3am to see J.Lo on the Today Show and Fat Joe did a surprise performance and I made it back just in time for work
worst of the year:
1. party: Shannon's birthday i was attacked with a crab mallet.
2. show: Cleveland day of the Ruiner/Dead Hearts tour
3. cd: Party Monster soundtrack
4. movie: Party monster
5. song: Anything from party monster
6. experience: Party monster, getting stitches is my face on easter morning, last week when i was sick, Nicole Wallace
7. purchase: A giant plaster last supper i bought in Mexico, it seemed like a good idea at the time but it got broke in the van and more when i got home and then Christen stepped on it in the dark one night and killed it. Even though the guy wanted $45 for it Steve and i got him to sell it to me for $15, John video taped the whole thing and as soon as i got it in the van my first words were "What the fuck am i going to do with this?" The whole thing was pretty funny
8. book: Why would i waste my time on a bad book
9. month: The last Three weeks of January
10. Day: That day Rob made me go to sonar with him

15. how was your birthday?: It was cool i saw Breather Resist and came home to my room filled with balloons and presents

- Taking the batteries out of toys at the daycare makes me happy; the kids seem to get bummed
- My new hobby is buying clothes wearing them once or twice and than taking them back (I also bought a gameboy on tour and played it for a 2 hour van ride and then found a mall and got my money back)
- Bars and alcohol steal friends
- I got a 1981 Les Paul today, its pretty sweet

So in eleven days I will be twenty two. A lot has changed since last year. Some ridicules shit has happened to me this year, most of it was pretty funny though. About this time last year I had a birthday party with like eighty people there. I have since lost some of those friends for some really stupid reasons, and I have lost some for some really valid reasons. Some people most likely hate me, and I hate some people that I didn’t last year. I have just not stayed in connect with a lot of people. Some I wish I had. Some times it just feels as I get older I can feel things start to fall apart and fade away, which sucks. Some of it has been my fault; some was out of my control. So thanks to everyone that has listened to me bitch about all the stupid shit I got myself into. I don’t know where this is going and im sure I could ramble on forever, but ill stop here. I will be surprised if people read this far, because I never read peoples entry’s that are this long hahahah.
